This tastefully restored barn is in a perfect setting close to main routes. Situated just outside the pretty village of Higham with its Tudor and Georgian houses and the lazy River Brett, it is located within an AONB.
With uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside, the area has an abundance of birds and wildlife. Free range chickens complete an authentic country atmosphere and that 'get away from it all' experience. You can walk straight from the door, or relax with a book, play games or enjoy the children's toys - all of which are available in the barn.
Famous villages of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare and Dedham are close by. Colchester, the oldest recorded Roman town in Britain, is a short distance away. Suffolk Heritage coast, Cambridge and Newmarket for the races, are all within one hour’s drive. Sailing and golf courses are plentiful.
